Our products are made with Light – (CO₂)® fabric, developed in Brazil in partnership with Rhodia®, a company of the Solvay® Group. This fabric was the first in the world produced with biodegradable nylon, resulting from pioneering Brazilian technology designed to accelerate the decomposition of garments after disposal in anaerobic landfills.

While traditional nylon (polyamide) takes decades to decompose, this innovation allows the process to occur in about 3 years in landfills and approximately 5 years in marine environments — making a significant contribution to reducing environmental impact, including combating microplastic pollution.

Part of the CO₂control® line, Light – (CO₂)® is developed within a production concept that prioritizes fabrics with a lower environmental impact — both in manufacturing and disposal. This fabric also stands out for its soft touch, elastane structure, excellent drape, and exceptional comfort for everyday wear.

High-performance sun protection

The fabric offers UV 50+ protection, in accordance with the ARPANSA Standard AS/NZS4399 protocol (tests conducted with the fabric dry, not stretched). Additionally, it was the first Brazilian fabric to be approved under the Stretch + Wet® protocol, developed in partnership with Rhodia® Solvay®, which tests the protection factor with the fabric stretched and wet, resulting in a UV 80 factor, ideal for those seeking enhanced sun protection.

International certification and conscious production

Certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100 – Class I, the fabric is free from harmful substances, making it safe for all skin types. The production process also incorporates sustainable practices, such as the use of recycled water in the dyeing and printing processes, in partnership with SABESP – São Paulo State Basic Sanitation Company – helping avoid the consumption of potable water.
